There she is
laying in her bed
all these thoughts
rushing through her head
she turns on some music
and plays it real loud
hoping that the bass
will pump those thoughts out

But nothing ever seems to help
so she takes the glass to hurt herself
she presses deep
and watches blood flow
hoping death will give her
a good place to go

As she slowly fades away
she only has one thing to say
if only someone had loved me
maybe I would have stayed
